deChlorinator
The Transmate DeChlorinator dechlorinates under the broadest range of conditions. The design allows for both long slow flushes of potable water and high volume treatment of superchlorinated lines as well as most variations in between.
Additionally, it can be accurately adjusted to efficiently treat less than 1 PPM chlorine to hundreds of PPM chlorine. When using Vita-D-Chlor Neutral there is never a negative impact to either the pH or the turbidity, even when treating high chlorine levels.

LPD-250 & Lightweight Aluminum LPD-250
Tablet dechlorination has been available for a number of years and the LPD-250 is a leader for its economical and easy to use application. Simply insert tablets and open the hydrant for fast, easy and reliable dechlorination.
These units are available in both steel and aluminum. At 17 lbs, the aluminum unit is about half the weight of the original steel version and provides for less stress when attached to a hydrant.

Hydro-Hitch with Aqua-D-Chlor
The Hydro-Hitch with Aqua-D-Chlor attachment is a versatile and economical option for using tablets to dechlorinate during hydrant flushing. The Hydro-Hitch accepts both 2.5" & 5" Storz connections giving it the flushing versatility that other devices lack. The built in hitch mount provides stability and convenience. The Aqua-D-Chlor unit has three flow rate settings, allowing the operator to adjust the dissolve rate of the tablets. It can be used either with or without the fine screen to accommodate a wide range of chlorine levels.
A NEW attachment will be available for the Hydro-Hitch in late summer 2010 that will allow this versatile, durable device to accept a liquid Vita-D-Chlor feed. This NEW addition will allow treatment of higher chlorine residuals, higher flows and full use of the 5" port and the volumes it handles while creating the most efficient use of Vita-D-Chlor.

Dechlor Demon (Hose Monster)
The Dechlor Demon neutralizes the chlorine in water during fire flow testing, hydrant flushing or flushing of superchlorinated mains without affecting test results or adding stress to hydrant nozzles.
This low restrictive device uses tablets and allows adjustment of the amount of dechlorination chemical, limiting the potential for severe over dechlorination. Available sizes include 2 ½", 4" and 4 ½".

Vita-D-Chlor Taby Mat & Sock
The Taby Mat and Sock provide for fast, simple-to-use and inexpensive methods of dechlorination. This starter method of dechlorination can be used when better methods are not available.
These pieces of equipment combined with Vita-D-Chlor tablets provide a safer alternative to many other field dechlorination methods and chemicals. They can be used only for treatment of potable water with low levels of chlorine.

5-Way Test Strips
5-Way test strips report results for Free Chlorine, Total Chlorine, pH, Total Alkalinity and Total Hardness – all on the same strip. Utilizing a single dip-and-read method, these strips offer accurate and reliable results in less than 30 seconds. 5-Way Test Strips are available in bottles of 50.
Test sensitivity is graduated as follows:
pH: 6.2, 6.8, 7.2, 7.8, 8.4
Free Chlorine: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 10 ppm
Total Chlorine: 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 10 ppm
Total Hardness: 0, 25, 50, 120, 250, 425 ppm
Total Alkalinity: 0, 40, 80, 120, 180, 240 ppm

Free Chlorine Water Check Test Strips
Free Chlorine test strips combine a wide range of detection with a patented Free Chlorine indicator. Free Chlorine is perfect for determining whether or not you have the correct amount of sanitizer present and for determination of the correct amount of Vita-D-Chlor necessary for dechlorination of potable and mildly chlorinated water. Available in bottles of 50, all of the reagents are impregnated on to the test strip pad and no external chemicals are needed to perform the test. Available in ranges of 0-6 ppm (mg/L) for high accuracy and 0-25 ppm (mg/L) for broader range testing.
Test sensitivity is graduated as follows:
0 to 6 ppm range: 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.2, 1.5, 2, 2.6, 4, 6 ppm
0 to 25 ppm range: 0, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 20, 25 ppm
