Tablet Mat, 3 pocket

Vita-D-Chlor Tablet Mats offer a simple way to dechlorinate without having to set up specialized equipment. Handy for unexpected releases of water, such as water main breaks. Can be held in place in a flow stream by running a rope or cord through the grommet and securing it to a heavy object. Stitched-in pockets keep tablets in position. Each pocket holds a single Vita-D-Chlor Tablet. Orange color provides better visibility in the field.

Applications

Use multiple mats in rotation for continuous dechlorination. The 3-pocket mat is ideal for most curb side flows of up to 600 gpm of potable water. When the tablets have dissolved to less than half of their initial size, add another mat with tablets to the flow stream. Pull the first mat when the tablets are nearly fully dissolved. Replenish with new tablets and return to the flow stream when the tablets in the have dissolved to half their initial size.
